A seemingly carefree everday existance

Ambition, time and money mean nothing. But a dream, cloud in the sky, or a bird flying across the trail from the wrong direction means much.

From the 1870s onwards, three million buffalos were slaughtered systematically in order to deprive the indians of the basis of their existence. This, as the 'hero' of the civil wars general Philip Sheridan cynically remarked, advanced 'progress' and 'civilization'.
